Lt. Gov. Ard files late report following ethics fines

      COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Lt. Gov. Ken Ard has filed his latest quarterly report with the state Ethics Commission.

      The report was due Sunday, but he didn't turn it in until Tuesday.

      The commission gives lawmakers a five day grace period before imposing fines.

      Earlier this month, Ard paid more than $48,000 in fines for ethics violations.

      Officials say he spend campaign cash on a vacation, clothes and iPads and provided inaccurate information to investigators.
