Thu, 22 Aug 2013 14:30:36 GMT — IRMO, SC (WACH)- Lexington deputies are seeking a man they say exposed himself near an area middle school. Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said a crossing guard at Irmo Elementary saw a man exposing himself and making suggestive motions towards several girls near the school on Westcott Road near St. Andrews Road. Deputies estimate the man's age to be between the age of 20 and 30, with a thin build and dark hair. Witnesses say the man was wearing blue jeans, a loose fitting white shirt, and a blue-white baseball cap. The school's crossing guard reported the incident to the school's resource officer, a full time Lexington County Deputy, at about 3:43 Tuesday afternoon. Parents, who saw the incident, told the deputy they saw a suspect standing near the fence that surrounds the perimeter of the school. Several of the students told the crossing guard the man was trying to expose his private parts while touching himself in an offensive manner. The crossing guard said the man's shirt was open down to his navel and his blue jeans were unzipped.
