CPD announces additional charges against man connected to Rosewood burglaries
Columbia, S.C. (WACH) -- The man arrested in connection to a string of burglaries in the Rosewood area is facing additional charges.
Jason Paul Jackson now faces trespassing and larceny charges along with three counts of second-degree burglary, larceny and two counts of grand larceny.
Just this week, WACH FOX reported that three burglaries occurred in the Rosewood area. Thanks to a Crimestoppers tip and surveillance video, the Columbia Police Department was able to arrest 41-year-old Jason Paul Jackson.
After admitting to the three burglaries, Paul was charged with multiple counts of burglary and larceny in connection to the burglaries of The Local Buzz coffee shop, The Ole Timey Meat Market and Rooftop Pizza.
He has been booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
