LEXINGTON COUNTY (WACH) - Lexington County detectives have arrested a man they say accompanied a suspect in a West Columbia murder.
According to Sheriff James R. Metts, Tevin Xavier Deloach, 20, of Columbia was arrested on a charge of murder. He was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center early Tuesday morning.
A bond hearing for Deloach has not yet been scheduled.
Deloach is accused of being with John Christopher Hart, 24, around 11:15 p.m. on April 10. Hart is accused of shooting and killing Paula Denise Justice, 43, that night.
Hart remains wanted for murder by authorities.
Metts says the arrest warrant states Deloach drove Hart to pick up Justice and drove Hart and Justice to Lumberjack Drive. The car was later parked and abandoned. Two repo men discovered Justice's lying injured on Lumberjack Road around 11:20 p.m.
Anyone with information on this incident, or the whereabouts of Hart should contact the Lexington County Sheriff's Department at 803-785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
