Man wanted for murder in Florida spotted in South Carolina

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WFTX/WACH) - A man wanted for murdering his mother and brother in Florida was spotted Tuesday in South Carolina.

WFTX-TV reports 55-year-old Shelley Tompkins and 22-year-old Daniel Tompkins were found in a home Tuesday night in Lehigh Acres, Florida near Fort Myers.

WFTX learned that law enforcement spotted the suspect, 24-year-old Steven David Tompkins, in Orangeburg. Tompkins was seen in a surveillance video at Walmart with 19-year-old Joycelin Luck.

Luck disappeared from her home in South Carolina the same day she was spotted with Tompkins.

Tompkins may be armed with a handgun and traveling in a 2004, green, 4-door, Ford F-150 Lariat pick-up truck with a Florida license tag of BFK T59. Tompkins is described as 5â??5â?? tall, medium build with hazel eyes and short brown hair. He may also have facial hair.
