NC man missing since Sunday, car found crashed, abandoned in SC

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (WACH)-- Law enforcement agencies in North Carolina and South Carolina are currently searching for a man who has been missing since Sunday.

According to the York County Sheriff's Department, 61-year-old Martin Bankhead was reported missing by his wife after he didn't return home.

He reportedly left his home around 9:45 p.m. his car was later located around 5:45 a.m. Monday crashed and unoccupied in Catawba, S.C.

Martin was last seen wearing a purple polo shirt, light khakis and brown shoes. He is described as a black male about six-feet-two-inches and has some gray facial hair.

He also wears glasses.
