COLUMBIA (WACH)--One of the two suspects involved in stealing equipment from a local deli has been arrested this morning.

Larry Hudson, 63, and Frank Johnson, 47, stole 3 air conditioning units, 1 walk in freezer condenser, and 1 walk in cooler condenser from Albertâ??s Deli on Parklane Road between 4:00AM and 6:30AM.The equipment stolen had an estimated total value of $20,000.

Hudson was arrested this morning, but the search still continues for Johnson.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the victim arrived at the business hearing noises coming from the rear of the building and observed Hudson and Johnson stealing the air conditioning units.

The suspects were loading the stolen merchandise into an orange, older model Ford pickup truck.

Sheriff Lott stated that the Richland County Sheriffâ??s Department Investigators were able to identify Hudson and Johnson through a tip from the community.
