      Orangeburg accident kills 2

      A three vehicle crash has left 2 people dead in Orangeburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

      ORANGEBURG COUNTY (WACH)??A three vehicle crash has left 2 people dead in Orangeburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

      According to Senior Trooper Bridgett Wyatt, at about 7:05 p.m. Monday evening, a 2008 Saturn driven by 21-year-old Sean Aston was on US 321 near Wire Road in Orangeburg County, when it crossed the center line and struck 2 on coming BMW motorcycles.

      Sr. Trooper White reported the operators of both motorcycles were killed in the incident. Aston was transported to Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, and a passenger in his car, Rebecca King, was uninjured.

      The SCHP MAIT team is investigating the accident, and according to the Highway Patrol, charges are pending against Aston.

      UPDATE: According to the SCHP, Aston has been charged with 2 counts of felony DUI and driving without an South Carolina driver's license.
