CONWAY, S.C. (AP) -- The parents of a 2-year-old Conway boy who grabbed a loaded gun and killed himself on Christmas Day are facing new charges.
Indictments against the couple were released Tuesday. Authorities say the charge was filed in February.
Investigators say on Christmas Day, Sincere Smith found the gun on a table in the family's home and shot himself in the chest. He died on the way to the hospital. Rondell Smith is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge.
