Person killed in Saturday evening crash on I-277 identified
COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – The second person killed in a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 277 Saturday has been identified, according to the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said Krystin Prince wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when she was driving her vehicle and was ejected during the crash around 5:30 p.m.
Prince was taken to Palmetto health Richland Memorial Hospital by Richland County EMS where she died Sunday night at 9:30 p.m.
Her cause of death is due to blunt force trauma to the head.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
