Plane diverting to Myrtle Beach for cracked windshield
Fri, 18 Jul 2014 15:15:52 GMT — HORRY COUNTY (WPDE/WACH)-- A Spirit airlines flight is being diverted to Myrtle Beach International Airport for a cracked windshield, according to Kirk Lovell Assistant Director of Airports for Horry County. Lovell said he does not have details on where the plane was coming from or any other details about the flight. He said the plane is following standard safety procedures by diverting. He said emergency officials are being called to the scene in case "anything serious happens." We will continue to post updates to this story as more information comes in.
