Police looking for suspect who hit and killed moped driver in Lexington

LEXINGTON (WACH) -- Officials are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal Lexington hit and run.

The Lexington Police Department says Midlands kitchen manager Hiram Juarez Miller was hit and killed by a truck at the corner of Industrial Boulevard and South lake Drive just after 2:30 Monday morning.

Police say the suspect's vehicle was a full-size pick-up truck with lights on top. Surveillance video from the corner shows the truck hitting Miller's moped and driving away without slowing down.
