Police search for man accused of making meth in home

COLUMBIA (WACH) - Columbia police are looking for a man accused of making methamphetamine inside a home.

According to acting Columbia Police Chief Ruben Santiago, officers responded to the 3000 block of Lincoln Street Friday night after receiving a CrimeStoppers tip about drug activity at that location.

Once officers arrived, they received consent to search the home from the owner and found an â??active cookâ?? inside a plastic, 2-liter bottle and ingredients that are typically used to make meth. The contents field tested positive for meth.

The homeowner is not expected to be charged at this time since he was not aware of the active cook.

However, CPD is looking for 36-year-old Jerry Galloway

Galloway has been previously arrested by CPD on drug charges.
