      Police searching for fatal hit and run suspect

      Officials are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect involved in the hit and run accident that killed a USC professor on Sunday, February 21.

      According to Cayce Department of Public Safety, the vehicle involved in the incident is a 1998-2002 Toyota 4Runner, similar to the model shown above but not necessarily the same color. The vehicle should show signs of damage on the front end and possibly other areas.

      Reports say that suspect was turning off of Knox Abbott Drive around 10:00 p.m. when the vehicle hit the victim, 34-year-old Toby Morris, who was on his motorcycle waiting at a stoplight.

      Morris was a USC adjunct photography professor.

      The suspected 4Runner was last seen driving north towards West Columbia on 9th Street.
