COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Richland County Council members ingested a lot of information Thursday from a report by County Election Commission attorney Steve Hamm.
Hamm pointed out several problems as to what happened November 6th, including not enough voting machines or communication.
"These good people should have asked the director, we have an election coming up...how many machines are you using and how did you determine that number," said Hamm.
864 machines should have been available election day, but Hamm says as early as July... plans were floating around indicating only about 600 machines were going to be at precints.
"The November 6th election hit an iceburg last summer and nobody noticed all the way up to and including the election,"said Hamm.
