CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Dorchester County's chief prosecutor says there is no evidence a private school tried to cover up sexual abuse by Louis ReVille.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that Prosecutor David Pascoe said Monday that a State Law Enforcement Division investigation found no evidence officials at Pinewood Preparatory School failed to report inappropriate activity by ReVille.
ReVille taught at the Summerville school between 2002 and 2006.
He is serving a 50-year prison sentence for molesting 23 boys around the Lowcountry. Pascoe says ReVille tried to blame Pinewood and others after his arrest in 2011.
But the prosecutor says he's told SLED that he will not be seeking criminal charges against the school.
He says there is no evidence that anyone at the school knew what ReVille was doing.
