RCSD seeking man wanted for string of burglaries on Leesburg Road
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)-- The Richland County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a man who is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Christopher Pascale, 38, is wanted by the RCSD for two counts of burglary first and second degree and larceny.
Deputies believe he may still be in Richland County or possibly hiding with family in the Lake Worth, Fla. or Nyack, N.Y.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that on May 17, deputies responded to 1510 Leesburg Road in reference to a burglary.
Pascale broke into the home while the victim was sleeping and stole two weapons, a single barrel shotgun and a World War II rifle.
The elderly victim was awakened by the noise and hollered out, scaring Pascale who then fled the home.
The following day, deputies responded to a burglary at the K Cleaners. Pascale and a second suspect forced entry into the business by breaking the sliding glass door.
Once inside, Pascale and another suspect ransacked the store and stole cash from the register.
Pascale has been linked to both burglaries and is also wanted by the Columbia Police Department on three burglary warrants and two grand larceny warrants.
The second suspect involved has been arrested and charged by both Richland County Sheriff's Department and the City of Columbia
Pascale is described as a white male approximately five feet five inches, 158 pounds, facial hair and light brown hair.
