Richand County fugitive turns himself in

COLUMBIA (WACH) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department arrested Randell Shareed Wilson, 21, Richland County Sheriff's Department. for resisting arrest, assault on a police officer while resisting arrest, breach of peace. Deputies

also arrested Dominic Rashawn Wilson, 23, for obstruction of justice, assault on a police officer, illegal stop and standing, and breach of peace.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM Dominic Wilson turned himself into Richland County Sheriffâ??s Department Region 1 Headquarters, located at 2615 Lower Richland Boulevard and was arrested without incident.

Sheriff Leon Lott said at 5:20 pm on Wednesday Richland County Sheriffâ??s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Meadowfield Road, in Gadsden. Upon arrival the deputy made contact with the victim who stated that she and Wilson who have a child together were involved in a verbal altercation. Wilson left the location prior to the deputyâ??s arrival and retuned moments later with the child using profanity and very irate.

Dominic Wilson refused to cooperate after numerous requests to calm down by the deputy and was placed under arrest for breach of peace. At this time Wilson became aggressive and his brother Dominic Wilson attempted to help free his brother. Randell was arrested at the scene and his brother Dominic fled the area.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that both Randell and Dominic Wilson were transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
