Richland Co. deputies searching for armed robber

Richland County deputies are looking for the man in this picture. They say he robbed two convenience stores on Two Notch Road earlier this month.

Richland County, SC - Richland County deputies are searching for a man they say has robbed two Midlands convenience stores at gunpoint.

Investigators say the first robbery happened around 4:00 am on September 18 at a CITGO station at 10541 Two Notch Road. The second robbery occurred at the Hess station at 10148 Two Notch Road on September 19 around 7:30AM.

Sheriff Leon Lott says the suspect went into both stores and demanded money at gunpoint. He is described as a black male in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, around 5 TM10 " 6 TM0 tall and 160 pounds. He may be driving a champagne colored 4-door sedan. He was last seen wearing a faded baseball cap with Navy on it and a stocking mask to conceal his face.
