ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- May Williams wasn't happy with her bowling score. She couldn't even make her age. Maybe it was because of the hubbub around her 102nd birthday party.
Williams makes it to the bowling alley at Strikers in Rock Hill three times a week. The league she bowls in threw her a party Wednesday, two days before she turns 102.
So what's the longevity secret of a woman who takes no medication, dances in heels on the front row for the Dance Fever team at the assisted living center, climbs the steps to her second floor apartment while all her friends wait for the elevator and has a handshake grip so hard it hurts?
Williams says she stays active, is happy and has lots of friends.
