GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Six people are charged in the death of a man who was attacked at a birthday party in Greenville.
WYFF-TV reported (http://bit.ly/12DUu6Q) that deputy coroner Barry Wright says 20-year-old De'Bron Aldrick Harrison of Columbia died Friday from blunt force trauma to the head. He had been on life support at Greenville Memorial Hospital for almost a week.
Greenville police said Saturday they had arrested six people, including three juveniles.
Police say Harrison was attending a 16th birthday party at West End Community Center, where he intervened when a man punched two girls in the face.
Police said a group chased Harrison from the community center, then beat him and kicked him in the face.
West End Community Center managers say the party was a private function.
