GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Investigators say the two men who were killed at an empty textile plant in Greenville were both security guards.
The coroner's office identified the victims of the shooting early Friday morning as 65-year-old Bobby Wood and 53-year-old Richard Ellison.
Authorities say they think the men were changing shifts when they were killed. Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans says both men died from multiple injuries near the guard station of the Hollingsworth plant but he was withholding the exact way they were killed at the request of deputies.
The company that owns the plant says Woods worked for it since 1967 and Ellison was hired in 1998.
The plant has been closed since 2009.
Deputies used police dogs and a helicopter to look for clues. No arrests have been made.
