(CALHOUN COUNTY, SC (WACH/AP) â?? Several arrests have been made in connection with the disappearance and murder of an Orangeburg teenager.
According to Calhoun County Sheriff Thomas Summers, 28-year old Bryant McKnight of St. Matthews is charged with murder and obstructing justice.
Summers says Randolph was killed shortly after she was last seen leaving an Orangeburg home with a man Feb. 13.
The sheriff says investigators know where the teen was killed, but have not found where the suspects took her body.
Deputies say the men lured Randolph from her home by saying they were taking her to a party.
45-year old Jerry McKnight of St. Matthews is also charged with murder and 20-year Jonathan McKnight of St. Matthews is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
â??We have worked around the clock for several days investigating this crime and locating the individuals responsible for Kymmara Randolphâ??s deathâ??, said Sheriff Summers. â??When we developed credible information that Ms. Randolph was killed last week in our county, we have been searching tirelessly for her body and will continue to do soâ??. â??This is an on-going, multi-faceted, complex investigation involving several agenciesâ??
