Shaw Air Force Base officials seek missing airman

SUMTER, SC (WACH) - USAF officials are looking for a lost Air Force officer.

Captain Robby Williams who was last seen Dec. 18, 2013. Cpt. Williams did not report to work on Dec. 23, 2013 here and is believed to be driving his 2013 Black Jeep Wrangler S.C. license plate ITC701; he resides in the greater Columbia metro-area.

Williams is 5 foot 7 and weighs about 190 lbs. He has brown eyes, brown hair and is an African American in his late twenties.

Were all trying to find Robby now, said Brig. Gen. Scott Dennis, the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Assistant Commanding Deputy, "Robby is a member of our team and a part of the Air Force family. We'd like the communities help in reporting any tips they may have to the local authorities."

Williams has been stationed at Shaw since Nov. 2012.

Shaw Air Force Base says the Richland County Sheriff's Department is working with personnel at Shaw.
