UNION, S.C. (AP) -- Investigators say a man stabbed to death last weekend in Union County was killed by a group of people looking for a fight and wasn't the intended target of the attack.
Union County Sheriff David Taylor gave details of the attack that killed 29-year-old Ryan Allen as he announced four additional arrests.
Taylor says about 100 people were at a party Saturday night when a fight broke out.
The sheriff says Allen and two other people were trying to break up the fight when they were stabbed. The wounded victims are expected to recover.
Five suspects are in custody and Taylor says a warrant has been issued for a sixth person. Four are charged with murder, and the sheriff says investigators think each man had a knife during the stabbings.
