Shots fired call delays high school football game

Columiba Police patroling near Barhamville Road after reports of possible shots fired.

COLUMBIA (WACH)-Columbia Police circulated the area near Barhamville Road after reports of shots being fired.

Friday night's high school football game between C.A. Johnson and Eau Claire was briefly delayed due to the call. The reports are of possible shots fired behind Bolden Stadium not at the stadium.

According to the Columbia Police Department, juveniles were kicked out of Bolden Stadium earlier because of an altercation. Shortly after, shots were reportedly heard at nearby railroad tracks.

Officers have not found any evidence of a shooting or shots fired at this time, including any property damage or a possible victim or victims.
