      Sketch released in search for murder suspect

      The Richland County Sheriffs Department has released a sketch of the suspect in a double murder.

      COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Richland County Sheriffs Department has released a sketch of the suspect in a double murder.

      According to deputies at around 7:30 p.m. on July 30 two men were shot and killed outside a home on Woodfield Drive.

      Sheriff Leon Lott says they now need the community's help in finding the suspect.

      Sheriff Lott says the suspect is in his mid 30 TMs with short brown or blonde hair, and several tattoos. His tattoos include a nude woman covering his entire back with a puma at the base of the woman, as well as tattoos of a lightning bolt and a horse or unicorn on his arms.

      Deputies believe the suspect has ties to the Hispanic community and is believed to be driving a newer green van.
