Solictor Donnie Myers charged for second time with an alcohol offense
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WACH, AP) -- Longtime Lexington County prosecutor Donnie Myers has been charged for a second time with an alcohol offense.
The Highway Patrol confirmed Friday that Myers was stopped May 25 just after 10 p.m. in Lexington County.
In the dash cam video, Myers tells a trooper he was swerving because he was listening to a college baseball game on the radio. Meyers passed the field sobriety test and was not charged with DUI.
Myers said he had two drinks and that his girlfriend left an alcoholic drink in his car.
Myers is scheduled in court June 14. He did not immediately return a message Friday.
Myers pleaded guilty and received one year of probation after he was stopped in Asheville, N.C., in 2005 and was charged with driving under the influence and open container.
