St. Patrick's in Columbia draws thousands
Columbia, S.C. (WACH)-- Thousands gathered in Columbia for the 35th Annual St. Pat's in Five Points.
The even featured live entertainment, over 20 bands on 5 stages, free children's area in the MLK Park and more.
Local businesses also got in on the excitement, with restaurants offering special deals on their beverages and food, and local artists exhibiting their works for sale.
The day also kicked off with events leading up to the big event, including the "Get to the Green" race starting at Maxcy Gregg Park and the St. Pat's Parade free to the public on Devine Street.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones of Birimingham, Ala. headlined the bands participating.
St. Pat's in Five Points is one of the largest festivals celebrated annually in the state and one of the largest in the Southeast.
