COLUMBIA (WACH) - Some USC Journalism students have literally been up all night in an effort to help others.
The Journalism school hosted its first Create - A- Thon where students created communication and marketing materials for 6 non-profit organizations.
All of the work is in an effort to support these organizations who make such an impact in the community and may just need a little help themselves.
"They have great missions and they do great work, but they have no marketing communications staff. So we are providing for them in this marathon event everything from soup to nuts, depending on what they need - from a website to brochures." says Karen Mallia, an Associate Professor of Advertising at USC.
