Students go green for Recyclympics gold

COLUMBIA (WACH)-- USC students hosted Recyclympics Wednesday on Davis Field.

They competed for prizes in recycling events including a phonebook toss, can stacking, and an obstacle course.

The event was part of RecycleMania, a national recycling competition among 400 colleges.

USC leads rival Clemson in total pounds of material recycled, but they are losing to Clemson in the grand champion race.

RecycleMania ends April 2.
