Suspect in custody after early morning shooting

SUMTER (WACH)â??A Wednesday morning manhunt ended 15 minutes from the crime scene.
Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis said deputies searched for 18 year-old Charles Singletary III, for more than three hours.
Dennis said shortly after 5 a.m. Singletary shot two friends and a mother killing one and injuring two victims.
Upon arrival, Dennis said deputies found the three victims; two with gunshot wounds to the head, and a third victim with a tear in his ear.
Investigators said 18 year-old Josh Brown was killed, 18 year-old Timothy Hodge was shot in the head and Hodge's mother, Margaret Charles, suffered a tear to the ear.
"The three male victims, the three boys are 18-years-old and had been childhood friends. Mr. Singletary has stayed at the residence on multiple occasions through the years. At this time it's trying to establish a motive," said Dennis.
Dennis said Singletary is charged with murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault.
