Swansea,SC (WACH)- A suspect in last weekend's deadly shooting of a Swansea man has been captured.
Patrick Sintell Larry, 31, of Swansea was arrested by the Lexington County Sheriff??s Department on charges of murder and other offenses in connection with the fatal shooting of a 43-year-old man on Sunday, February 12 at the 43-year-old man??s home on Calhoun Road near Swansea.
Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said sheriff??s department detectives in cooperation with the Calhoun County Sheriff??s Office detectives arrested Larry, Swansea, on arrest warrants on charges of murder, first-degree burglary and armed robbery. Larry was being held on Friday, February 17 at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
Under South Carolina law, a circuit judge would have to conduct a bond hearing for Larry in general sessions court because murder carries a punishment of life in prison, Metts said. The 11th Judicial Circuit Solicitor??s Office has not yet scheduled a bond hearing for Larry.
Arrest warrants allege that on February 12 Larry entered the home of Matthew Milhouse, Jr., 43, at 498 Calhoun Road while armed with a shotgun, Metts said.
