COLUMBIA (WACH)-In today's world, the thinking process of ??thrifting?? and consignment shopping has changed.
"I think it's definitely a good choice", said Shelby Harris, a loyal customer of Sid Nancy located in Five Points. "You're finding really great clothing for really great prices."
Balling on a budget is how some view it, but in a time where the economy was at its lowest point, the term "hand me down" became second nature.
Courtney Phillips, Sid Nancy manager, says there's a difference between what's wearing for the first hand buyer and what you can re-sell.
"Once you get to find something that you can re-sell, it's a treasure, it??s fun," said Phillips.
Thrifting is a great opportunity for someone to snag an outfit. Not only are the clothes half the price, but in some cases has never been worn.
