IRMO, SC (WACH)- The suspect in an indecent exposure incident at Irmo Middle School on Tuesday has been arrested.

Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said deputies arrested a 16-year old boy Friday on charges of exposing himself and making sexually suggestive comments toward girls leaving the Irmo Middle School campus just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Sheriff Metts would not release the boy's name since he is under the age of 18 and still considered a juvenile. Metts will recommend the boy be prosecuted in family court where he will be charged with disturbing schools.

Metts said the boy is not currently enrolled in any public school in the area. After the boy was arrested he was booked and released into the custody of his mother.
