MLK Day-Celebrations for Martin Luther King Jr. Day get underway. Parades and speeches will be held nationwide in remembrance of the civil rights visionary. An annual breakfast will be held at Brookland Baptist Church this morning, as well as King Day at the Dome.

Holiday Closings-In honor of MLK Day, there's no mail delivery, and the stock markets are closed. There is free complimentary admission to America's National Parks for the holiday.

Main St on Ice-Today is your last chance to sharpen your ice skating skills. The City of Columbia's outdoor skating rink will close for the season tonight. Its located in Boyd Plaza on Main Street.

Olympics Threat-There are new threats about the Winter Games in Sochi. A video surfaces on an extremist site, showing militants vowing that tourists and Russians attending the games will not be safe. The State Department has issued a travel warning for the games. But thousands of Americans are still expected to attend.

Super Bowl 48-The fight card is set. The Broncos and Seahawks will go head to head. Its the first time the top seeds have made it to the Super Bowl since 2009. The Super Bowl airs on WACH FOX Sunday, February 2nd.
