The NFL has suspended Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Ace Sanders without pay for the first four games of the season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

The league handed down the punishment Wednesday, one day after Sanders disclosed it was coming and said he would not appeal.

The FAA lifted its ban on US airlines flying in and out of Israel. The ban was initiated after a rocket struck near the airport on Tuesday. The agency will continue to monitor the situation around the airport.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control is holding an informational session this morning. Stakeholders will get information on the EPAâ??s clean power plan proposal. The Riverbank Zoo has its fifth straight year with attendance of more than a million people. Zoo officials saying attendance increased by approximately 14,000 people. The zoo is in the midst of a $26 Million dollar expansion which will include a new sea lion exhibit, new grizzly bear and other habitats. The zoo first topped a million visitors in 1990 after opening the aquarium-reptile complex.
