Troopers investigating Sumter hit-and-run that injured seven-year-old
SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run that injured a seven-year-old boy.
The incident happened 6:30 Wednesday night on Cockrill St. near U.S. Highway 15.
The child was in the roadway during the incident, according to Highway Patrol. As of now, the child was in serious condition.
The vehicle was later located by patrol troopers and they’re still investigating the incident.
