Tropical Storm Warning in effect for South Carolina

COLUMBIA (WACH / AP) -- Tropical Storm Andrea continues to bring rain to the southeast

Maximum sustained winds are at 46 mph as of the 5am update Friday.

The storm is moving northeast at 28mph.

Tropical storm warnings remain in effect for South Carolina as well as the Mid-Atlantic.

A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropial storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours.

Heavy rain from Columbia to the coast is expected, along with strong winds.

Isolated tornados cannot be ruled out of the forecast on Friday.
