COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Dorian has been downgraded to just a tropical wave over the central Atlantic Ocean.
Forecasters at The National Hurricane Center have issued their last advisory for Dorian Saturday afternoon.
The tropical cyclone no longer has a closed low-level circulation. It is also dealing with a very harsh environment with dry air and wind shear.
The remnants of Dorian are moving west at 24 mph and will pass north of the Leeward Islands and will be near the southeastern Bahamas in the next two to three days.
The next named storm in the Atlantic basin will be Erin.
