Columbia (WACH/NHC) -- Tropical Storm Dorian has weakened some as of the 11:00 p.m. advisory.
The storm remains well out-to-sea and poses no immediate threat to land, however the Northern Leeward Islands are being monitored closely as the storm continues it`s current track.
As of now, no tropical storm watches or warnings have been issued.
Maximum sustained winds for Dorian are 50 mph as the storm continues to move west-northwest at 20 mph.
The latest forecast models continue to show a area of high pressure developing in the Atlantic which will cause Dorian to take a northerly turn early next week preventing the storm from making landfall in the U.S.
Despite this track, rip currents will be a concern along the east coast of the country.
