On this "Tuesday Tails," our Good Day Columbia crew meets a 4-month-old pup named Honey whose as sweet as could be.

"She's really just chilling out and really mellow. We have her as a Lab mix but there may be some German Shephard in there," says Alexa Sparkman

"She was in foster care like many of our pups and that's where many of them get socialization people, dog and cat skills. Honey has been in a couple play groups and has done fabulously and has been in a home with children. She was also at a birthday party at Pawmetto Lifeline the other day and did great," adds the Pawmetto Lifeline Adoptions Manager.

"She's really a little social butterfly and I could tell this as soon as she came into the newsroom. She came right up to me and was okay with cuddles. She is the perfect dog for any household," says our Morning Traffic & Lifestyle Reporter Natalie Parsons.

Honey was also treated for Demodex Mange which is skin infection that comes from little mites and takes a few weeks to clear up with the help of medicine.

For more information about Honey please visit Pawmetto Lifeline's "Adopt A Dog" page or call the rescue at (803) 465-9170.

Pawmetto Lifeline plans to hold it's annual Bark To The Park fundraiser next month and it looks forward to seeing both its human and furry friends for a 1.5-mile walk.
