LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Two men wanted in connection with a home burglary and armed robbery were both arrested this week, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities say Corey Lamar Stanton, 30 of Lexington was spotted by an Irmo police officer who was patrolling near the home of Stanton's girlfriend. He was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary and armed robbery around 7 p.m. Monday.
Henry Patrick Vesey, Jr., 38, of Irmo was also arrested by an Irmo police officer on charges of first degree burglary and armed robbery around 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to Sheriff James R. Metts.
The men are accused of being involved with a burglary and armed robbery that occurred on June 25 at a home on Sharon Church Road near Gaston.
Stanton and Vesey are both awaiting a bond hearing at the Lexington County Detention Center.
