Two men wanted for robbing Broad River gas station

COLUMBIA (WACH) â?? Richland County Sheriff Lott is requesting the communityâ??s assistance identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery.

According to Sheriff Lott, at 1:20 on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the Circle K on Broad River Road, two suspects, 25-year-old LaFrank Moseley and an unidentified black male entered the business and stole money for the register.

The unidentified suspect told the clerk that he had a gun under his shirt and demanded money from the victim. The suspects stole the cash then fled the business on foot. RCSD K9 apprehended Moseley just a short distance away on Whiteford Road; he has been charged with armed robbery.

The second suspect was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black jeans, black sneakers and a white shirt on top of his head. He is 25 years old, with a medium-heavy build with a mustache, and goes by the name â??G.â??

The Sheriff added that the suspects frequents the Colony and Bethel Bishop Apartments. The Sheriff states that second suspect was captured on video and surveillance equipment inside the business and leaving.

The Sheriff is asking for information on the identity or location of the suspect involved and asks that information about this crime should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
