LEXINGTON (WACH) -- Lexington County Sheriff's Department released a composite sketch of an unidentified man who fatally shot a 31-year-old man that tried to mediate a dispute outside of a bar on BerryHill road.

The man is described as African-American, who was between the ages of 22-28 and weighted about 140 pounds. The suspect was 5'5 -5'6, had shoulder length dreadlocks and gold on his bottom teeth. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators say Ratliff was taken to Lexington Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle.

At the hospital, Metts says Ratliff was pronounced dead.

The Lexington County Coroner's office says Ratliff died within minutes, when one bullet lacerated his heart.

The Coroner says Ratliff was 31 years-old and from Columbia.

Investigators say they've learned several people left the bar after the shooting and deputies would like to speak with them about what happened that night..
