UPDATE: Two arrested in Five Points shooting

Jacob Green

COLUMBIA (WACH)â?? The suspect arrested in this weekend's Five Points shooting has been identified.

Jacob Green was located this afternoon on Riverwind Drive. Green is charged with Two Counts of Attempted Murder, Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun.

Shante Tabor was also arrested and charged with Accessory after the Fact of a Felony.

Officials believe the shooting was not a random act of violence.

Authorities believe the shooting may have been in retaliation of a fight that broke out on the 800 block of Harden Street.

Shortly after midnight witnesses say the argument, which took place near The Pour House, ended when a friend of one of the people involved pulled him away from the confrontation, and that they ran to their car in a nearby parking lot to leave the area.

The shooter then fired several rounds at the vehicle, one bullet hitting the passenger in the leg. His friend drove him to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

WACH will provide more information once it becomes available.
