COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The University of South Carolina Choir is maintaining a 60-year tradition with its annual Christmas concerts in Columbia.

The university's premier choral group is slated to sing on Friday and Sunday. Their program includes new arrangements of "Silent Night," "The First Noel," "Rejoice, Rejoice" and other seasonal music.

University spokeswoman Megan Sexton says the first concert is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church on Marion Street.

The second concert is planned for Sunday at Shandon United Methodist Church on Devine Street.

Both events are free and open to the public.
