(WACH)- USC's most famous defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is known for his speed coming off the line, but the SC Highway Patrol says his penchant for speed has gotten him in trouble with the law.
A Highway Patrol spokesperson said Clowney was stopped for reportedly driving at 110 miles per hour in a 70 miles per hour zone about 7:30 Saturday night along I-77 Northbound near mile marker 39, near the White Oak area.
Officers said Clowney got a ticket on the spot for speeding. He recieved the maxium fine of $355 and 6 points on his license.
The spokesperson said no other tickets were issued.
