Vegans in the Midlands gear up to Mac Down!

If you're Vegan or just simply a lover of all things Mac-N-Cheese then this weekend's Mac Down SC is a must for you!

It's happening at the Hampton Room located at the Venue on Main (1620 Main Street, Columbia, S.C.) on Sunday, September 10th with doors opening at noon.

The community has an opportunity to come sample a variety of recipes and vote for the very "Best Vegan Mac and Cheese" in the region.

Chefs are traveling from Savannah, Charlotte and Charleston are coming to Columbia to serve up their best.

Folami Geter, Lamb's Bread Vegan Cafe (Columbia)

Stephanie Bridgers, The Local Buzz (Columbia)

Gloria Clay, Independent Chef (Columbia)

Ken Immer, Culinary Health (Charleston)

Benoit St Jacques, Meet Your Cremator Hot Sauces (Columbia)

Yvette Garcia, Lady Go-Go's (Charlotte)

Chef Saa, Rawtopian Bliss Raw Vegan Diners Club (Columbia)

The Event Coordinator Stacy Shepanek says this event is currently sold out but they are currently doing a raffle to give some tickets away.
