COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Dorn V.A. Medical Center is offering advice to folks who are for South Carolina's veterans.
The V.A. is hosting classes about providing in-home care for injured veterans, legal issues involving caregivers and stress reduction techniques.
Organizers say the event recognizes the importance of caregivers so they can help their loved ones and learn about community resources.
"There are a lot of services out there to support caregivers. The trick is just finding them and putting that puzzle together for yourself so you have the services that best fit you, the caregiver, your veteran or your loved one," says Marsha Ward, Conference Organizer.
Representatives from community agencies that assist with veterans also attended Monday's caregiver conference.
